The Northern Lights Pattern

I was experimenting with new colours and colour combinations, learning how to create lacing and cells in my acrylic pour paintings. I was simply enjoying the process while painting live on my YouTube channel, Kathleen’s Place.

When I stepped back and looked at the finished painting, it reminded me of the beautiful Northern Lights I’ve seen here in Canada.

Now that artwork has become a wearable pattern—and I love seeing how it has come to life on this dress.

Using the dryer could damage clothes faster in the long run. However, they can go without a problem, since the fabric is already shrunk and has already been heated to 400 degrees.
